Wow - this post really brought back memories. I haven’t seen or thought of Mille Bornes in years, but it was a game my family played when we were kids (before I got too cool to play games with my parents). It’s sort of like Uno or Skip-bo but with a road race theme; you get to fuck the other players over a lot by slowing them down with speed limits (limite de vitesse, above), stops, flat tires, accidents, etc. It’s still around; now that we have game nights with our friends I might have to go out and buy a deck.
